MINING PHOTOGRAPHY
Harsh environments, remote locations, dust, dirt and everything in-between. Dynamic mining photography takes an experienced and dedicated mine photographer that is not only comfortable working in this kind of environment, but passionate about the imagery and opportunity it presents. Dave has been travelling to some of the most remote locations in Australia for over 15 years, spending time underground, in open cut operations and above conducting aerial photography. Working with not only the mine owners and contractors operating the sites, Dave has experience with a multitude of associated companies and industries such as explosives, engineers, drill rig operators, heavy machinery manufacturers, environmental control, geologists, electrical contractors, campsite management, chefs, bespoke equipment manufacturers and water management to name a few. Some of the Australian based and international companies Dave has worked with include Anglo American, Thiess, Q-Coal, Xstrata, Dyno Nobel, Leighton, Hitachi Construction Machinery, Komatsu, Watpac, BIS and NRW. Dave has a current first aid certificate, Confimed Space Ticket, Australian Criminal Police check, experience with SCSR and CABA equipment and an understanding of underground and open cut mine site protocols. This is my environment!
