CONSTRUCTION PHOTOGRAPHY
Dave Wicks has been working in all areas of commercial construction photography in Queensland and around Australia since 2003. He has a current construction safety card and first aid certificate along with years of experience working safely in a construction environment. Construction offers some of the most interesting and dynamic imagery to be found in the hands of a photographer that knows how to navigate the environment and work with what is often a difficult and uncomfortable place. “Working with the people on site is often the most rewarding experience…” Dave says, and this is true when you see the results of his imagery. Dave has spent time on an interesting range of construction photography projects including the Clem 7 tunnel in Brisbane, Barangaroo reclamation work in Sydney, 1 William Street State Government building in Brisbane, Cleveland Youth Detention Centre in Townsville, Civil Developments for Boral in the Southern NSW Highlands and The Anna Meares Velodrome for the 2018 Commonwealth Games to name a few. He works with companies such as Watpac, FDC, Woollam, Icon, Multiplex, Comdain, Fredon and many more on a regular basis.
